Get cited

How to get cited by AI, in the order that actually works.

Being cited is downstream of five things, and they only work in order. Skipping to content production is the most expensive mistake we see.

Find out which step you are stuck on

No account needed. We fetch your homepage, robots.txt and sitemap and score how ready your site is for AI search. This measures readiness, not rankings. How we measure

1. Be reachable

Allow the agents you care about — GPTBot and OAI-SearchBot (OpenAI), ClaudeBot (Anthropic), PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and Bingbot — serve a reachable sitemap, and make sure the HTML your server returns already contains the content.

2. Be extractable

One question per heading, a two-sentence answer directly beneath it, then the detail. Assistants lift the sentence under the heading that matches the prompt, so that sentence has to be able to stand alone.

3. Be identifiable

Organization schema with sameAs links, consistent naming everywhere, a real about page, named authors with credentials. An assistant will not name an entity it cannot resolve.

4. Be corroborated

Assistants weight what other sources say about you. Directory listings, review platforms, press coverage, podcast appearances and genuine community mentions all feed that. This is the slowest step and the hardest to fake.

5. Be verified

Re-audit after each change, record what moved, and track your visibility estimate against the same buyer questions week over week. Without that loop you are guessing.

Questions we get

How long before we see a difference?

Readiness changes are verifiable immediately. Mentions in assistant answers depend on each engine's own refresh cycle and on authority work that takes months — we report the movement rather than promising a date.

Next steps

Start with the free readiness audit above. When you want a human-reviewed diagnosis or help completing the fixes, there is a step for that too.
