Google AI Overviews
Google answers first now. Be the source it summarizes.
AI Overviews are assembled from pages Google already indexes, so classic SEO health is the entry ticket and answer-ready structure is what gets you quoted. This tool checks both layers against your live site.
Check your AI Overviews readiness
No account needed. We fetch your homepage, robots.txt and sitemap and score how ready your site is for AI search. This measures readiness, not rankings. How we measure
The two layers
Overviews sit on top of the normal index, so both layers have to work:
- Search layer: indexable pages, correct canonicals, a reachable sitemap, no accidental noindex
- Answer layer: structured data, question-shaped headings, short factual answers, clear authorship
- Google-Extended: a separate control that governs use of your content for Gemini and AI experiences
What we see fail most
Sites that rank fine and still never appear in an Overview usually have long, unsegmented prose with no heading that matches how a buyer phrases the question, and no schema describing the entity behind the page.
Questions we get
Does appearing in an Overview cost me clicks?
Sometimes. Being named as the source is still better than a competitor being named instead, particularly for considered B2B purchases where the visitor researches further.

Start with the free readiness audit above. When you want a human-reviewed diagnosis or help completing the fixes, there is a step for that too.
